Engineering Felt
Engineering Felt is a high grade, high density felt recommended for precision uses where maximum durability and resistance to wear is required. Trugrade Materials supplies a variety of different grades to both the retail and wholesale industry. The types of Engineering Felt available are A, B, Firm White Felt (FWF), Saddle Felt, Podiatry Felt and Removalist Felt.
Engineering Felt is suited to such applications as:
- Podiatry purposes
- Car restoration
- Timber floor protection
- Aircraft construction
- Rural industry as blanket wipers for weed control
- Mining and engineering industrial use

Engineering Felt is available in a variety of specifications and thicknesses ranging between 1.6mm through to 25.4mm. We supply felt coils in a full range of grades, widths and lengths. In addition adhesive backed furniture felt strips are available. These are 70mm wide and are great for placing under furniture to protect your flooring. Each grade of felt is available in full rolls ranging from 6m to 32m in length. These rolls come in a variety of widths and colours, and can be cut to your specific requirements if required.

Decorative / Craft Felt
Our decorative felt is manufactured using a high wool count giving it a soft, textured feel. Coupled with tightly woven synthetic fibres this felt is not only strong but long lasting. Decorative felt is available from 30cm squares up to full rolls, being 1.8m wide x 32m long, and is available in 50 different colours. Trugrade Materials also supplies pool table felt/cloth in a variety of colours. Decorative felt is generally used in such applications as:
- Arts and crafts
- Billiard tables
- Casino table upholstering
- Furniture cushioning
- Pin board manufacturing
